I do a lot of sewing, reading, swimming and overly ambitious DIY – if you'd like advice on stripping lead paint from wooden stairs just let me know. In the spring I'm part of a frog patrol that helps amphibians cross a busy road near where I live. I like to make silly cards for people. I do not like flying. I have two masters degrees and, even though that's already a bit much and academic referencing once made me cry, I would love to do more. My pub quiz strengths are books, dog breeds and song intros. My weaknesses are geography and football.
